UAE orders additional systems from Airobotics for autonomous urban drone integration

PETAH TIKVAH, Israel – Airobotics Ltd., based in Petah Tikvah, Israel, announced that it has been hired by a government entity in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to provide additional unmanned aerial systems and services. Airobotics Optimus Urban Drone Infrastructure collects and analyzes aerial data through its automated drone infrastructure.

This flying robot The system is designed to operate as a network smart drone Connected to the city control center and will provide various automated data solutions as municipal infrastructure. The primary function of the deployed urban drone infrastructure is to shorten the response time of security and rescue forces to emergencies and to support law enforcement and homeland security activities. The company is also working on drone package delivery and other smart city applications powered by infrastructure.

This order is a follow-up to the initial systems and services provided and fully reviewed by the client during Expo Dubai. During the event, Airobotics successfully conducted thousands of drone flights without human intervention in challenging environmental conditions and densely populated areas to the satisfaction of end users.

Airobotics says it is in United Arab Emirates and other countries, and plans to build permanent infrastructure with other customers that relies on fleets of automated drones that do not require human intervention on the ground. The drone is able to operate as a workgroup, simultaneously gathering and delivering critical information for various customer needs. Airobotics drone infrastructure is designed for urban environments and strategic facilities that require immediate security, surveillance and emergency response.

The mission of the drone flight is to carry specific sensors that enable each drone in the system to perform a different task. The drone can be activated for complex long-term operations. The flight is supervised by a remote operator from the command and control center.
