The Al Ain Court of Appeal upheld the ruling of the Al Ain Court of First Instance, which obliged the nursery owner and two female employees to pay Dh30,000 in compensation to the father of the child. This was ruled after a female employee closed a door behind the child’s finger.

According to the case file, the child’s father filed a lawsuit claiming that two employees and the owner of the kindergarten were responsible for the traumatic amputation, severe bleeding and loss of the fingertips of his two-year-old right hand. Half the nail plus three centimeters of skin.

The court affirmed that the two employees, under his direction and control, worked in the nursery belonging to the owner, and that the complainant’s son was injured as a result of the negligence of the two employees in the performance of their duties, which made the owner’s nursery wrong to its employees. bear civil liability.

The court decided to dismiss the appeal and uphold the original judgment, ordering employees and owners to pay damages, as well as legal fees and expenses.
