The UAE experienced a foggy morning and low visibility on roads, leading authorities to lower speed limits on major roads and warn the public of the dangers of driving in these weather conditions.
Abu Dhabi Police posted a video on their social media accounts on Sunday explaining 10 common mistakes people make when driving in fog.
The error is as follows:
1. Not obeying the speed limit on an electronic sign
2. Use cruise control
3. Not leaving enough distance between vehicles
4. Use hazard lights
5. Do not turn on fog lights and use strong lights
6. Not following the lanes on the road
7. Use your phone while driving
8. Stop on the shoulder
9. Driving heavy vehicles
10. Continue driving even if visibility drops to dangerous levels
