On Wednesday, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Indonesian Vice President Dr Ma’ruf Amin at Qasr Al Shati’ Palace.

During the meeting, the Indonesian Vice President conveyed the greetings from Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Sheikh Mohammed and wished the UAE further progress and development.

President Sheikh Mohammed responded to this greeting.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations based on the common interests of the two countries and the two peoples.

The meeting discussed the 2022 G20 Bali Summit to be hosted by Indonesia in November this year. Sheikh Mohamed wished Indonesia a successful global summit and advancing international efforts and constructive cooperation within the G20 to address common challenges facing the world in a way that serves all humanity and ensures global stability, development and prosperity.Ton

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Jan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Takhnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Adviser to the Presidential Court Sohail bin Mohammed Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei and Climate Change and Environment Minister Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri and the delegation accompanying the Vice President of Indonesia.
