President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah II ibn Hussein of Jordan discussed the fraternal relationship and cooperation between the two countries.
Sheikh Mohammed received King Abdullah at the Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the UAE President and King Abdullah exchanged New Year greetings and prayed to Almighty Allah for the further progress and prosperity of the two countries, the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency Sheikh Mann Sul bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Presidential Court Extraordinary Affairs Advisor; Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE; Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the Supreme Audit Institution.
Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan was present.
