ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today received Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who is currently visiting the UAE for the first A report from the Emirates News Agency, WAM, at the Abu Dhabi Space Debate. Their meeting took place at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Israeli President to the UAE and discussed with Herzog bilateral cooperation and ways to promote peace, prosperity and development in the region. The leaders of the two countries exchanged views on some issues of common concern.
The session also addressed the Abu Dhabi space debate and its role in facilitating communication among active and influential stakeholders in the space sector and discussing mechanisms to develop the sector and achieve its goals. Both leaders emphasized the need to promote bilateral cooperation in space.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun, Special Advisor to the Presidential Court Al Nahyan and UAE Ambassador Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Qaja Israel.
