Sheikh Mohamed, Asim Munir review UAE-Pakistan joint work on defense and military affairs
Sheikh Mohammed and Asim Munir met in Abu Dhabi. – Wow
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Pakistan Army Chief of Staff General Asim Munir.
Speaking at the meeting at Qasr Al Shati Palace, Sheikh Mohammed congratulated General Munir on his appointment as Pakistan Army Chief of Staff and wished him good luck in his new duties in the service of the country and its people. Munir expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the President.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the UAE-Pakistan partnership and joint work in defense and military affairs, and ways to strengthen them to serve the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Matters Adviser to the Presidential Court Department; Ali Mohamed Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council; Lieutenant General Saif Mohammad Al Mazrouei serves as Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces.
