ABU DHABI – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday met Kazakh President Kassim Jomart Tokayev, who is on an official visit to the country.
Kazakhstan’s president is greeted by a guard of honor upon his arrival at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. He was welcomed by a formal reception, accompanied by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.
The ceremony included the playing of the national anthem of Kazakhstan, followed by the firing of 21 shells and the formation of a guard of honor to salute the distinguished guests.
The reception was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed His Excellency Al Nahyan; Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; Sara Musallam, Minister of State for Early Education; Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and Environment; Ahmed Ali Sayeq, Minister of State; Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council and Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE; Sheikh Hamdan Bin His Excellency Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser on Special Matters, Presidential Courts Department; Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Ariqi, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan, and some senior officials of the state.
The delegation accompanying the President of Kazakhstan included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tilyuberdi Mukhtar; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration Zhumangarin Serik; Deputy Chief of Staff of the President of Kazakhstan and Special Representative of the President for International Cooperation Erzhan Kazykhan; ministers and senior officials.
