Sheikh Mohammed highlights their role in guiding and shaping young minds

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, paid high tribute to educators in the UAE on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
He praised them for mentoring and shaping the next generation who will drive future progress.
“Dedicated teachers are the cornerstone of our education system and will be at the forefront of its development,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted on Wednesday.
Earlier in the day, the president addressed the country’s education professionals. He stressed the importance of teacher influence in guiding students, especially in their early years of school.
He spoke of the great responsibility teachers have in shaping young minds and protecting children from impacts that could undermine their futures and their contributions to society.
The President reiterated the UAE’s continued commitment to investment in the education sector to ensure that future generations are empowered to continue the UAE’s progress.
He talked about his own experience in military training and the pride in seeing his generation graduate and serve the country.
