Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated His Majesty King Charles III on his coronation.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed his heartfelt wishes on Twitter, saying: “Congratulations to my dear friend His Majesty King Charles III on the coronation. Our heartfelt wishes to the United Kingdom and its people on this historic day , and look forward to further strengthening the long-term partnership between our two countries.”
Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also congratulated King Charles III on Saturday’s coronation.
Sheikh Mohammed wrote in a tweet: “Congratulations to King Charles III on his coronation today. The United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom have a long historical relationship and we look forward to further strengthening this relationship and taking it to new levels during the reign of the new King. .”
The UAE and the UK have a deep and enduring relationship in areas such as trade, investment and security cooperation.
President Sheikh Mohammed’s speech underscored the UAE’s commitment to build on these foundations and strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries under King Charles III.
Representing the UAE at the coronation was H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency.
Sheikh Mansour attended King Charles III’s official reception at Buckingham Palace on Saturday. The event celebrated the coronation of King Charles III and marked the opening of a new chapter in British history.
