United Arab Emirates Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced public paid holidays for the private sector during Arafat Day and Eid al-Fitr from June 27 to June 30.
Employees will be given four days off to commemorate Arafat Day and Eid al-Adha.
The decision is in line with the resolution of the UAE Cabinet on the approval of public holidays in the public and private sectors.

Saudi Arabia confirms 2023 Eid al-Adha date
The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has announced that Monday, June 19 will be the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah (Dhul Hijjah), after the new moon was seen in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, June 18.
Saudi Arabia confirmed late Sunday that the annual Hajj pilgrimage will begin on June 26, two days before Eid al-Adha falls.
“Arafat Day will be observed on Tuesday, June 27, while Wednesday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr,” according to a Supreme Court statement, which reportedly saudi news agency.
The new moon marking the start of the Islamic month Dhul Hijjah was spotted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night, so the last month of the Islamic Hijri calendar begins on Monday, June 19.
