The program will train them in the skills they will need in the future
A comprehensive development announced on Sunday will equip UAE government workers with 20 skills to enhance their future readiness. The program, titled “Jahiz: The Future of Government Talent,” will provide federal government employees with training in data and artificial intelligence, the new economy, digital and 10x skills.
The Cabinet meeting was chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
“An investment in our cadre is the best and most profitable investment in our future,” he tweeted at the end of the meeting.
Cabinet reviewed the Government Productivity Measurement Project and assigned it to the Federal Human Resources Administration. “The productivity of some of our entities and ministries remains low compared to the human and financial resources available,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.
UAE Government Annual Meeting
The Cabinet has approved an annual meeting of the UAE Government on 22-23 November. The National Conference will see the participation of UAE leaders, ministers and senior government officials.
“500 senior federal and local officials will be present. The goal is to review the previous year’s performance and agree on the most important development projects at the national level next year,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
Global Green Economy Alliance
During the meeting, the UAE Cabinet approved the country to join the Global Green Economy Alliance led by the World Green Economy Organization.
This will support the UAE’s preparations for the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28).
