Dubai: Going outdoors? Don’t forget to bring an umbrella as it can rain in some parts of Abu Dhabi.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather will be generally cloudy, with low cloud over parts of the northern coast and over the sea, with a chance of light rain. Motorists are urged to slow down as roads are slippery due to the rain.
The temperature tends to increase gradually. The evening and Saturday morning will be very humid, with mist possible in some western areas.
Maximum temperatures in the interior of the country are expected to be between 23 and 28°C. Temperatures will reach 21 to 26°C in coastal areas and islands, and 13 to 18°C in mountains.
A minimum temperature of 5°C was recorded at Mount Jess in Ras Al Khaimah at 5am yesterday.
The highest temperature was 25.4°C recorded at 2.45pm in Sweihan, Al Ain.
Offshore winds are expected to intensify at times from northwest to northeast, with gusts of 10 – 20 km/h and sometimes up to 35 km/h.
The waters in the Arabian Gulf are relatively calm to mild, and the Sea of Oman is mild.
