[ad_1]

DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates offers a rich mobility experience and quality of life to its citizens, while taking care of its residents to the best of their ability.

With Eid al-Fitr fast approaching and the holidays looming, residents of the emirate are exploring options for where they can spend their holidays to enjoy the beauty and comfort.

While UAE nationals can travel visa-free to dozens of countries, residents of the emirate are also free to travel to 15 countries that offer visa-on-arrival.

These countries are:

  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Brunei
  • Mauritius
  • Sri Lanka
  • Indonesia
  • Thailand
  • Montenegro
  • nepal
  • Seychelles
  • armenia
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Georgia
  • Maldives
  • Azerbaijan

Some of these countries, such as Thailand and Sri Lanka, offer affordable travel for globetrotters, and those with UAE residency can benefit from it.

Another aspect that makes these countries attractive is that most of them are only a five-hour flight from the UAE.

This year, Easter is also in Ramzan, combined with the Eid holiday, prompting residents of the emirate to explore different countries without any visa-related hassles, Arabian Business reported.

This year Easter is scheduled for April 9, followed by Eid al-Fitr on April 20 or 21.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of options for holders of United Arab Emirates passports, as the passport has been ranked as the number one most powerful passport in the world by offshore consultancy Nomad Capitalist.

United Arab Emirates passport holders have access to a total of 181 destinations – without a visa, via a visa on arrival or via an eTA (electronic travel authorization).

The uniqueness enjoyed by the UAE is that it has a large expatriate population and its residents are considered low-risk travellers, allowing the countries to open up to them more frequently and comfortably.
