Authorities in Abu Dhabi have shut down a restaurant that violated the rules. The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued a decision to administratively close the Hollowmeat restaurant in Al Ain.

According to the authorities, the closure of the restaurant was due to a violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 on Food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its related legislation.

During the inspection, it was found that the restaurant with the business license number CN-2756683 poses a major threat to public health.

All food establishments in the capital are subject to regular inspections by authority inspectors to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.

Previously, ADAFSA had urged residents to report any irregularities in food outlets or concerns about food ingredients to the Abu Dhabi Government toll-free number 800555 so that legal action can be taken.
