In the current new school year 2021-2022, Sharjah has opened seven new private schools with different abilities and various new education courses.
A senior official from the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) stated that the new school includes an Australian curriculum and represents a qualitative increase in the emirate’s educational work system.
The new schools include Darb Al-Saada Private School, Victoria International Private School, Mantina American Private School, Al-Madina International Private School, Al Sidra Private School, Gulf American Private School and’Shouifat’ Sabis International Private School.
He added that SPEA has inspected these schools to ensure they are ready to accept students, especially new students, and their application of necessary conditions and procedures. These inspections also tested their commitment to the prescribed general standards, absorptive capacity, and preventive measures approved by the authorities in response to Covid-19.
Inspectors also ensure that these schools are prepared to provide a safe learning environment because the safety of students is a top priority.
The new school is located in seven districts, including Al Ghubaiba, which houses the Darb Al-Saada private school, which follows the ministerial curriculum for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The Mantina American private school in Muwailih follows the American curriculum from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The Al-Madina International Private School is also located in the Al-Azra region, and is based on a ministerial curriculum to provide education for students from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. The Al-Sidra private school in Kalba uses ministerial curriculum to teach students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The Gulf American Private School is located in the Al-Rahmaniya area and teaches American courses for students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. The Choueifat-SABIS-International Private School in the Aljada region is based on a special curriculum for pre-kindergarten students. Kindergarten to grade 12.
