UAE: Sheikh Mohammed lists the best and worst government agencies-News

55,000 customers participated in the survey to evaluate the digital and smart services of 30 government agencies.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced on Friday the top five and bottom five government agencies in the UAE, according to his Directive earlier this year Evaluate the digital and smart services provided by various ministries and federal government agencies.

After surveying 30 government entities based on a poll of 55,000 respondents, the results are as follows:

The best government agencies in the UAE

-Ministry of Interior

-Federal Identity and Citizenship Administration (ICA)

-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

-Ministry of Climate Change and Environment

-Community Development Department

Worst government agency in the UAE

-Ministry of Education

-Federal Revenue Service

-Securities and Commodities Administration

-General Administration of Pensions and Social Security

-Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure

In announcing the findings on Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed said that underperforming government agencies have 90 days to take remedial measures and improve their performance. They will be reassessed afterwards, which will determine the next course of action.

When Sheikh Mohammed announced the 2021 survey earlier this year, he emphasized that providing the best services in the world is the top priority and focus of the work of the UAE government.

He said that the main goal is to provide government services through digital channels.

“Within three months, we will evaluate the success of government agencies in providing integrated digital services that can provide services to customers anytime, anywhere.

“Such services should enable them to complete transactions easily, quickly, and efficiently.”

He said that continuous evaluation of government services is not an administrative or routine procedure, but a “constructive approach aimed at celebrating excellence” and improvement.

Evaluation process

Evaluated more than 1,300 digital services provided by federal government entities.

It covers the customer’s opinions on the service and its satisfaction.

The evaluation focuses on the customer’s experience of acquiring and obtaining government services through digital channels; the number of steps involved; the ease of payment; the accuracy of the services provided; and the speed of completion.

Name the best and the worst

This is the second time the UAE Government Center has been evaluated and selected the best and worst centers.

In September 2019, Sheikh Mohammed Announcing the five best and worst service centers in the UAE.

The Federal Identity and Citizenship Authority of Fujairah was rated the best, and the UAE Post in Sharjah was the worst.
