Foreign Ministry stresses respect for religious symbols, avoiding incitement and polarization
The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the burning of the Koran by an extremist in The Hague, Netherlands.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) affirmed that the UAE always rejects all practices aimed at undermining security and stability, and contrary to human and moral values ​​and principles.
The ministry stressed that at a time when the world must work together to spread the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence and reject hatred and extremism, religious symbols must be respected and avoid incitement and polarization.
