UAE: Temperatures drop, residents go outdoors-News

[ad_1]

As more and more people go to parks and beaches, the venues in Dubai and Sharjah echo the sound of people playing football or cricket.

With the hot UAE summer coming to an end, it’s time to go outdoors-at least now at night.

The temperature dropped sharply, and many residents and sports enthusiasts went to parks, beaches and playgrounds one after another.

In the past three months, the average temperature has hovered around 45 degrees Celsius, and many residents have been forced to stay indoors.

However, many venues in Dubai and Sharjah this weekend reverberated with the sound of people playing football or cricket, and the parks and beaches were also busier than the previous weekend.

Najeeb KK, the venue manager of Sharjah Skyline University, said that many people have been looking for him to book venues recently. “The games are held regularly in the evening, starting at 6 am on Friday and Saturday,” he said.

“As the temperature drops, we may see a lot of consultations in the coming months.”

The university complex has many fields where you can play cricket and football, as well as 21 practice nets.

Roshan, a cricket enthusiast from Al Nahda in Sharjah, is ready to continue the game with his friends after the summer vacation. “There are more and more people coming to play now. We have games every night and weekends,” he said.

Sarfaras Khan from Pakistan was equally excited to play cricket with his teammates and colleagues on the local court in Sonapur. “We only rest on weekends and we will make the most of it by playing our favorite sports,” he said.

Many residents also began to visit beaches and parks. Soliman Ismayel, a Somali expat, is now happy to hang out with his family on the beach and park. “I waited a long time to spend time outdoors with my family. This is a roller coaster year for everyone, and now we want to spend time outdoors while complying with all Covid agreements.”
