The airline will operate four flights to Glasgow every week.
As the UAE has entered the “Amber” list of UK travel starting on Sunday, August 8, Dubai’s flagship airline Emirates Airline announced that it will restart services to Glasgow, Scotland.
From August 11th to October 30th, the airline will operate four flights to Glasgow a week.
Emirates flight EK 27 will depart from Dubai at 07:50 every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and arrive at Glasgow International Airport at 12:45 on the same day.
The return flight EK 28 will depart from Glasgow at 14:35 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and arrive in Dubai at 01:05 the next day (all times are local time).
From September, Emirates will increase the frequency of flights to once a day.
Adnan Kazim, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates said: “Emirates welcomes the decision to add the UAE to the UK’s international travel’amber list’, which reflects the extensive measures taken to slow the spread of the virus in the UK and the UAE.”.
Passengers arriving in the UK from the UAE no longer need to be quarantined in government-approved hotels, provided they have been vaccinated.
