AL AIN, (UrduPoint/Pakistan Point News/WAM – January 4, 2023) USA Arab UAE universities build bridges of constructive collaboration to enhance their global reputation, recently signing several partnerships with educational institutions Malaysiaespecially the University of Malaya, in national priority areas.
Associate Provost for Research, Professor Ahmed Murad, said the collaboration improved the quality of scientific research through outstanding contributions.
he also added United Arab Emirates The University supports research projects between the two universities.The two universities have carried out 11 research projects in various fields, 3 of which are in food with agriculture. There is a research project titled “Postharvest techniques to improve the nutritional quality and storage life of figs (Ficus carica L.) The research project “Immunomodulation” on the activity of exopolysaccharides (EPS) produced by novel probiotics and their rheological effects on camel dairy products (fermented milk and cheese)”. There are also five research projects in water and energy, one of which is entitled “General soft computing model of groundwater level and water quality in arid and tropical regions”, and the other is entitled “Development of a saltwater-based power generator system”.
In addition, there are three research projects in information technology and Engineering, entitled “Intelligent Clustering Body Language Analysis of Healthcare Patients,” “Static and Dynamic Hands Arab System integration of sign language translation using spatiotemporal and machine translation models”, and “Study of monostatic radar cross sections (RCS) for military communication systems using composite metasurfaces integrated with antennas”.
He also said that they have completed four research projects.The first is titled “Cognitive Mirroring Through Continuous Lifelong Learning: Robotic Avatar Therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorders,” Information technologywhile the other three are titled “Mitigating Deposition on Heat Exchanger Surfaces by Nanoparticle Additives and Conductive Polymer Coatings”, “Development and Testing of a Novel Nonlinear Random Wave Excitation Force Estimator – Simulation and Experimental Studies” and titled “A hierarchical control strategy for the coordinated operation of a point absorber wave energy converter farm equipped with a hybrid energy storage system: a simulation and experimental study” in water and energy.
He added that between 2017 105 studies published by University faculty and researchers by 2022 document collaborate with researchers from University of Malaya, mainly computer science, environmental science, medicine and engineering.In addition, five new projects were recently funded in partnership with the University of Malaya waterenergy and mobility studies, starting with February 2023.
