UAE University holds meeting with UAE Institute of Public Administration

Al AIin – United Arab Emirates University held a meeting with the UAE Public Administration Association (ESPA) on Thursday 20th October at the Innovation Lab at the Crescent Building, in the presence of Professor Ahmed Murad – Deputy Provost for Research, As well as Dr Suad Al Marzouqi – Deputy Provost for Student Affairs at Emirates University and Dr Eng. Hamed Mohammed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Board, Dr. Eng. Abdullatif Al Azazi – Vice-Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Shamis Al Nuaimi – Secretary-General, Dr. Shafea Mohammed Al Neyadi – Board Member, and others from the Emirates Public Administration Association (ESPA) to discuss ways of working together.

Professor Ahmed Murad, Deputy Provost for Research, said: “As part of UAE University’s efforts to achieve international research status, the University collaborates with partners in the industry sector to provide research solutions to local, regional and regional challenges. international community and meet the requirements of the UAE’s strategic vision for leadership and excellence at the local, regional and international levels. He added: “We have an ecosystem of strategic partnerships with authorities and institutions, and UAE University’s academic programmes are designed in collaboration with employers to ensure the majority of employment for university graduates. Continued investment in the quality of our facilities and services, as well as the efficiency of our staff, makes us an example of excellence, creativity and progress at local, regional and international levels, he asserts. UAE University senior management has always sought to align the University’s strategy with the ten principles for the economic, political and social development of the UAE over the next fifty years, and to enhance the University’s position in national, regional and international rankings.

Dr. Suad Al Marzouqi, Deputy Provost for Student Affairs, highlighted the importance of working with the UAE Public Administration Association (ESPA) and the importance of strategic partnerships to serve the best interests of both parties and work together to improve the management skills and knowledge of university students To achieve the desired goals of cooperation with government agencies, to promote joint activities and volunteer work programs for college students.

Dr. English. Hamed Mohammed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Public Administration Association (ESPA), introduced the association’s strategic vision to provide management consulting services to institutions, economic organizations and individuals in accordance with best administrative practices and international standards. He explained: “We seek to introduce best practices and apply the best standards in our work to provide the best possible solution in training courses, lectures, conferences and other events. We are here today to provide our expertise in public administration experience, knowledge and skills that will benefit everyone in society, both individually and collectively. We are working to increase the level of efficiency in individual management and we also seek to provide many privileges for members of the association and their families.

Dr. English. Vice-President Abdullatif Al-Azazi gave a comprehensive presentation of the association’s goals, activities and strategic partnerships with educational institutions in the country. Finally, UAE University and the UAE Association of Public Administration have developed visions, activities and initiatives for future cooperation between the two parties.
