UAE urges protecting civilians and ending violence in Israel-Palestine

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement emphasizing the need to protect civilians and urgently end the violence. They expressed deep concern over Hamas’ attacks on Israeli communities near Gaza, including the firing of numerous rockets, and the abduction of Israeli civilians as hostages. Condolences were extended to the families of victims, and diplomatic efforts to prevent a broader regional conflict were encouraged. The UAE stressed the importance of global cooperation to prevent violence from destabilizing the region and involving other groups. The UAE remained in close contact with regional and international partners to de-escalate the situation, restore calm, and facilitate negotiations for a two-state solution, ensuring peace and dignity for both Palestinians and Israelis.
