Municipalities in the Al Dhafrah area of ​​Abu Dhabi have urged residents to be careful when going out as strong winds, rain and raised dust can be harmful.
Authorities have asked residents to contact the authorities on hotline 993 or via WhatsApp number 026788888 in case of sand accumulation, fallen trees or any other emergency.
It also said all construction equipment such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, suspended platforms and other heavy machinery should be stopped and structures such as tower cranes and scaffolding must be secured in accordance with approved specifications. All activities such as demolition should be stopped and workers told to proceed with caution.
Temporary fencing and barricades will also be installed around workplaces as they remove volatile substances.
