Hot and dusty weather prevails throughout the country.
As thick fog swept parts of the country, the UAE Meteorological Department (NCM) issued a heavy fog warning on Wednesday morning.
As the speed limit on major roads in the UAE has been reduced to 80 km/h, the authorities have urged motorists to drive with caution.
“During the day, between 11 p.m. (Tuesday) and 8 a.m. (Wednesday), horizontal visibility in some coastal and inland areas may decrease further.”
