UAE: Which Dubai Metro station is connected to the tram?

Dubai: Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lakes Towers are two of Dubai’s most popular neighborhoods, and the easiest way to explore the area is by taking the Dubai Tram. If you are new to or have never used trams, you can easily board the tram from the two Dubai Metro stations that connect to it.

Tram stations accessible by Dubai Metro

According to a recent Instagram post by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), there are two Dubai Metro stations connected to Dubai Tram. all these are:

1. SOBHA REALTY Metro Station (R36 in the picture below) is connected to Dubai Marina Tram Station (05).
2. DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Center) Metro Station (R37) is connected to Jumeirah Lakes Towers Tram Station (03).

Both Dubai Metro stations are on the Red Line and feature pedestrian bridges that connect directly to two adjacent tram stations.

So how do I use the Palm Monorail?

Another popular location for tourists is the Palm Jumeirah, which you can also explore with another dedicated public transport option, the Palm Monorail.

While the monorail is not directly connected to the Dubai Metro, it is connected to Dubai Tram via a pedestrian bridge at Palm Jumeirah Station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk and you will arrive at the first station of the Palm Monorail – Palm Gateway station.

What is the Palm Monorail?

The 5.5-kilometer Palm Monorail is the only public transport system on the Palm Jumeirah for residents, tourists and tourists.

It connects tourists and residents from the Gateway Station at the entrance of Palm Jumeirah to the Golden Mile Mall, Al Ittihad Park, Nakheel Mall and Atlantis Aquaventure Station at the end of the journey.
