UAE’s new visa rules come into force: How Indian job seekers will benefit

[ad_1]

New UAE visa rules for 2022: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made major changes to its immigration laws, changing a new set of visa rules that affect tourists, job seekers and those interested in living in the Gulf state. The advanced visa regime, announced last month, came into effect on Monday. The new visa guidelines include a 10-year extension of the Golden Visa scheme, a five-year green residency for skilled workers and a new multiple-entry tourist visa that allows tourists to stay in the country for up to 90 days. The new regulations will have a major impact on tourists as well as those wishing to work or live in the UAE.Also read – Multiple entries, 10-year extension of residency and more: UAE’s new visa law to take effect tomorrow

  • As part of the new regulations, tourist visas will allow tourists to stay in the UAE for 60 days, an increase from the previous 30 days.
  • In addition, the five-year multiple-entry tourist visa will also allow tourists to stay in the UAE for up to 90 consecutive days.
  • Meanwhile, the new work exploration visa will allow professionals to seek employment in the UAE without a sponsor or host.
  • The five-year green visa will allow other nationals to sponsor themselves without seeking help from UAE nationals or their employers. Freelancers, skilled workers and investors are eligible for this visa.
  • Green visa holders will be granted a period of up to six months if their permit expires.
  • Golden visa nationals will receive a 10-year residency visa to which investors, entrepreneurs and individuals with exceptional talent will be eligible.
  • Workers on a Golden Visa will enjoy the benefits of 100% ownership of their business.
  • Family members of golden visa holders can also stay in the UAE after the holder’s death, while the visa is still valid.
