India Today Web Desk: On Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, renamed the Al Minhad area and its surroundings “Hind City”.
The city consists of four districts – Hind 1, Hind 2, Hind 3 and Hind 4, spread over an area of ​​83.9 square kilometers.
Hind City is connected by major roads such as Emirates Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road and Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road.
In early 2010, the Burj Khalifa was renamed the Burj Khalifa in honor of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, then President of the United Arab Emirates and ruler of Abu Dhabi.
The Al Minhad district was renamed “Hind City” by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
He is the third son of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, former vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. Mohammad took over as vice president and ruler after his brother Maktoum died in 2006.
