From Kings concerts to courtside couples, here’s your top entertainment news:

coronation concert

It’s a big weekend for the royal family and King Charles III as his highly anticipated coronation gets underway.

The coronation concert, which headlines Katy Perry and Lionel Richie’s multiple high-profile performances, will also wrap up the age-old ceremony. Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Take That, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench will also be on stage.

For Richie and Perry, their relationship with the newly crowned king came to a happy ending with the show. In 2020, Perry was appointed ambassador for the UK Asia Trust, which was co-founded by then-Prince Charles, while Rich was the Prince’s Trust’s first global ambassador the previous year.

basketball playoffs

The NBA is currently experiencing its biggest playoff ratings in decades, and there are good reasons to tune in for more this weekend. A series of intense matches — and some budding rivalry — will take over the game.

The Philadelphia 76ers return to the Wells Fargo Center for their first home game of the second round against the Boston Celtics. Center Joel Embiid will receive his MVP trophy ahead of the game as both teams look to take a 2-1 lead.

Also in the East, the Miami Heat and New York Knicks are tied 1-1 as the series heads to South Beach on Saturday. All eyes will be on Jalen Brunson and Jimmy Butler, both looking to take advantage of the seven-game series.

Across the country in Los Angeles, LeBron James and the Lakers hope to defend the Crypt against the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors. This game could have a big impact on shifting momentum in either direction in another tie series.

In the end, the Denver Nuggets, who lead Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns 2-0 in the series, are looking to win Game 3 tonight, hoping to end the series with a 4-0 sweep on Sunday.

Meanwhile, stars Tom Holland and Zendaya watched the Lakers/Warriors game from the sidelines. The couple starred together in the MCU Spider-Man movie and Zendaya’s latest movie, dunes 2just had a trailer drop.
