For the first time in its 23-year history, Ultra Music Festival goes middle East.
The world-renowned electronic music festival announced on Tuesday (December 20) that it will land in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on March 4-5, 2023. The event will feature two stages—a great room-focused Main Stage and the house-focused Resistance Stage—with a lineup to be announced in the coming months.
The event marks Ultra’s first appearance in the UAE after the 2020 edition of Ultra Abu Dhabi was canceled due to the pandemic. The event will be held on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, a leisure and tourism destination that also hosts the annual Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Tickets are on sale now.
Ultra Abu Dhabi will mark the first time the Miami-based company, or any other U.S. company dance FESTIVAL BRAND – Once hosted a show in the Middle East. Since launching in Miami in 1999, Ultra has become a global leader in delivering electronic music to world markets, with the show iterating over the years in Peru, Colombia, South Africa, Singapore, China, Australia, Spain, Croatia and more.
Meanwhile, Ultra’s flagship music festival returns to Miami’s Park by the Bay from March 24-26, 2023, with a lineup of include Double appearance by Swedish House Mafia, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Claude VonStroke, CloZee, Eric Prydz, Grimes, Gryffin, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Zedd, REZZ, deadmau5 – he will perform as part of his Kaskade collab Kx5 and Oliver Heldens went by the pseudonym Hi-Lo during b2b as his own techno alter-ego Testpilot and other genre stars.
