UMEX and SimTEX 2022 5th session kicks off in February

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the 5th Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and Simulation Training (SimTEX) conference will Opening on February 20, elite specialists and experts from around the world gather at the ADNOC Business Center, both physically and virtually.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in partnership with the Tawazun Economic Council and the Ministry of Defence, the conference will focus on “No Man, No Boundaries: Realizing the Promise of a No Man Revolution”.

The conference will take place ahead of the UMEX, SimTEX and ISNR 2022 exhibitions from 21-23 February.

The conference will bring together some of the top experts, policymakers, academia and government officials from the field of unmanned systems, strengthening the UAE’s position as a global destination for preeminent events highlighting the latest technological developments in these industries, in addition to showcasing the best in these emerging fields. best practice.

Four main topics will be discussed and explored at the conference. These include understanding the changing unmanned landscape; Unmanned Systems and the 4IR: How Technology Shapes Future Capabilities; Promoting Trust and Understanding: Human-Machine Collaboration and Decision-Making in the Unmanned Era; and Optimizing Innovation: Overcoming Adoption and Integration Challenges.

The meeting will be attended by ministers and officials from around the world, most notably His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs, His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, and telecommuting applications, and Professor Mérouane Debbah, Principal Researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Telecommunications Systems at the Institute of Technological Innovation.

The conference provides an ideal platform for attendees and attendees to gain a better understanding of the challenges facing humanity today and the solutions and opportunities offered by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, while also highlighting the advanced contributions of unmanned systems technology and its potential.
