UAE National Day Celebration: Umm Al Quwain Announces 50% Discount on Traffic Fines

In anticipation of the UAE’s 52nd National Day, Umm Al Quwain authorities have introduced a special initiative, offering a 50% discount on various traffic violations. The General Command of Umm Al Quwain Police unveiled this exclusive offer, applicable to all violation types committed in the emirate before November 1, 2023.

Discount Details and Duration

This special offer, excluding severe infractions, is valid from December 1, 2023, to January 7, 2024. The initiative aims to encourage compliance with traffic regulations and motivate individuals to address outstanding violations during this specific period.

Excluded Violations: Umm Al Quwain

Certain violations, such as reckless driving, endangering lives, damaging public or private facilities, overtaking red lights by heavy vehicles, motorcycles, or exceeding speed limits by more than 80 km/h, are not included in the discount. Additionally, modifications to vehicle engines or base “chassis” without a license are also excluded from the offer.
