Emirates saw the demand for foreign travel this Eid al-Fitr and summer.
The well-established airlines of the UAE, Emirates and Etihad Airways, have been rated as one of the world’s best airlines by AirlineRatings.com, an Australian aviation safety and product rating agency.
Dubai-based Emirates has been upgraded to fifth place in the latest rating.
AirlineRatings stated: “Emirates climbed to fifth place and just launched premium economy class, which is known as one of the best in the industry.”
Emirates Chief Operating Officer Adel Al Redha said at a recent virtual press conference that Emirates currently operates nearly 120 destinations, almost the same level as before the outbreak.
Emirates saw an increase in demand for foreign travel during this Hari Raya and summer period.
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways ranks 20th on the list. Etihad Airways recently announced the addition of Vienna to its newest list of destinations, making it the 54th destination in its growing network. Etihad is also the first airline to fully vaccinate its employees.
Ranked first is Qatar Airways, followed by Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines, EVA Air, British Airways, Lufthansa, All Nippon Airways, Finnair, Japan Airlines, KLM, Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Virgin Australia, Delta Air Lines and Etihad Airways.
