United Arab Emirates: Install air-to-water machines in parks and beaches in Abu Dhabi-News

[ad_1]

The agreement between Abu Dhabi and Israeli companies stipulates that Watergen will provide its patented water solutions to the UAE.

After the signing of the Abraham Agreement on September 15, 2020, Al Dahra Holdings, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, sent a delegation to Israel in October last year to discuss partnerships in the fields of agriculture, water, and technology.

One of the strategic partnerships that resulted from that visit was a collaboration with the Israeli technology company Watergen, which produces water from the air.

After the water analysis project conducted by the Abu Dhabi City Government, the quality of water provided by Watergen was considered “excellent.”

Therefore, the company installed their first air water generator for public use.

In May, a pilot program was launched in cities such as Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the western region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and 15 medium-sized Watergen machines were installed.

These machines are placed in parks and beaches for tourists to enjoy the highest quality drinking water during the journey.

According to the authorities of Al Dahra Holding, 700 additional machines have been ordered, 500 of which are newly released “Genny” household equipment.

Scientists have always warned that entering the drinking water war may lead to global conflicts in the near future. From this perspective, the agreement will have far-reaching effects.

The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure announced the country’s 2036 water security strategy in September 2017, which aims to ensure sustainable access to drinking water.

The strategy has several goals, including reducing the total demand for water resources by 21% and increasing the country’s water storage capacity to two days.

So, how does a country produce its own water? The answer lies in technology-driven solutions.

Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Abu Dhabi by Al Dahra Holding Vice Chairman and Co-Founder Khadim Al Darei and Watergen Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President Michael Mirilashvili in Abu Dhabi last November, the two parties agreed to establish a permanent establishment in Abu Dhabi. Sex centers, used to manufacture and distribute equipment for the production of drinking water and irrigation water.

The agreement states that Watergen will provide its patented water solutions to the UAE and jointly expand to the entire Middle East and Africa.

Miri Rashvili told In Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, his vision is to provide people all over the world with what he believes is the basic human right-access to drinking water.

“My vision is to produce the highest quality water at the most affordable price. Everyone in the world must have access to water,” Mirilashvili added.

How does this concept work?

Watergen’s technology uses heat exchange technology to extract water from the air, which can produce water in a very short time. Their technology requires only 20% humidity, which explains its compatibility with desert-like conditions such as the UAE.

“In the next two years, every household in the UAE will have an air water generator,” Mirilashvili said.

He added that the mission of the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, is to ensure that 30% of the population depends on locally deployed air-to-air combat. -Water machine and gradually increase to 100%.

Watergen’s largest machine can provide 6,000 liters of water a day and has been used to support villages in Africa and hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

The five-year cooperation project with Al Dahra Holding will be developed to adapt to the desert ecosystem of the UAE.
