The UAE today sent a plane carrying 50 tonnes of essential food to the Republic of Zimbabwe, contributing to meeting the needs of thousands of families and vulnerable groups such as women, children and the elderly.
His Excellency Dr Jassim Muhammad Al Qasimi, UAE Ambassador to Zimbabwe, said: “The delivery of food to the Republic of Zimbabwe reflects the strong relationship between our two countries and demonstrates the humanitarian role the UAE plays in supporting African countries and alleviating humanitarian problems.
