Yerevan, September 15, Amen Perth. Abu DhabiGlobal Media Conference, in which ARMENPRESS is a media partner, will host 30 different discussions with over 40 speakers and experts.
The conference will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE. The event is organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Specialised conferences and exhibitions will be held during the conference, focusing on the latest developments and future of media, and the conference is scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 15 to 17 November 2022.
The three-day conference, titled Shaping the Future of the Media Industry, will see attendees share ideas and propose solutions that will transform the field for years to come.
The topics of the first day of the conference were “The Transformative Power of Media”, “Future Spotlight: Is Digital Media Fertile for Future Investment?” and “Investing in the Metaverse: How Media Companies Will Benefit and What Is the Projected ROI?”.
Day two topics included “The role of think tanks in influencing media content”, “Examining social media consumption across the region and how this is changing the media landscape” and “Social Media: Discussing how short films are rising” – a video change in the form the media industry”.
The topics for the third and final day were “Diversity and Inclusion in the Digital Age: Women in Media” and “Consumer Psychology: Current and Future Predicted Media Consumption Trends”.
Speaking earlier about the event, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said hosting the Global Media Conference in Abu Dhabi was the UAE’s message of peace and compassion to the world. He stressed that the Congress would help to recognize the role of the media in promoting cooperation, understanding and tolerance among communities.
Not only journalists, broadcasters, social media representatives, but also members of tech companies and governments will be at the convention.
The event will serve as an important platform for regional and world media to share knowledge and experience in the media sector and discuss the latest global developments in the industry. It will enable international organisations and media companies to open doors of new opportunities.
