ABU DHABI – Burjeel Holdings has announced the launch of a highly advanced neuroscience institute in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with US-based Northwell Health.
The Neuroscience Institute will be located at Burjeel Holdings’ flagship facility, Burjeel Medical City (BMC), and will provide state-of-the-art care for adult and pediatric patients with neurological disorders, including autoimmune brain disorders, epilepsy, Parkinson’s and Movement disorders, pediatric neurology and multiple sclerosis.
The collaboration between Burjeel Holdings and Northwell Health will enable the transfer of knowledge and expertise between the two organizations to provide the best possible patient care.
Dr. Souhel Najjar, a world-renowned neurologist, professor and chair of the Department of Neurology, Hofstra/Northwell Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine, and executive director and senior vice president of the Northwell Health Neurology Helpline, Dhabi will lead the Abramovich Institute.

Burjeel Holdings and Northwell Health officially launched the ‘Dr. Najjar Neuroscience Institute’ at a ceremony held at Northwell Health’s corporate headquarters in Manhattan, New York.
