Abu Dhabi police say negligent motorists have caused horrific crashes on the streets of Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Police have warned of the dangers of not obeying traffic rules while driving on the street.
Police said the accident happened because motorists were paying attention to the road and traffic ahead.
The Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) has shared videos of multiple traffic accidents in which they highlight the risks of focusing on other things while driving, as well as the risk of running red lights.
Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Follow-Up and Control Centre, have released a video of the accident as a result of being busy off-road to educate motorists in the UAE.
The Traffic and Patrol Department of Abu Dhabi Police warns drivers that the use of mobile phones while driving, having drivers talking to their companions or busy taking pictures, adjusting make-up and grooming, and other causes of vehicle inattention and distraction are causing serious traffic problems one of the main causes of accidents.
The offence of being busy on the road while driving the vehicle in any way is Dh800 and four black spots, police said.

Police also appealed to the public to obtain information about the accident from official sources and not to share any videos and photos of the accident.
