The three flights will deliver 283,805 kilograms of medicines, medical supplies and medical kits to Sudan to support the Sudanese people, relieve their suffering and save precious lives.

This air bridge represents the largest single air bridge ordered between the United Arab Emirates and Sudan. This year, the WHO logistics center in Dubai delivered a total of 25 shipments worth US$1.4 million to Sudan. In 2020, the hub will support the delivery of 8 lifelines to Sudan, valued at US$900,000.
Through its logistics center in Dubai, WHO is able to deliver life-saving supplies to countries around the world immediately and efficiently. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the center has sent more than US$90 million in sanitary products to more than 120 countries.
