Visa, a global leader in digital payments, has announced the appointment of Salima Gutieva as Vice President and Country Manager for the UAE.
Gutieva succeeds Shahebaz Khan, who was named Senior Vice President and Head of New Payments Processes for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA).
In her new role as UAE Country Manager, Gutieva will be based in Dubai, responsible for market strategy and supporting UAE customers and government partners in meeting the growing demand for seamless, secure digital payments.
Gutieva has 16 years of Visa experience and has held various business development positions, including Visa’s head of sales in Russia.
