The inaugural Vistara flight from Mumbai departs at 19:10 (IST) and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 2040 on Saturday.
“The airline has been steadily strengthening our presence in the UAE and the rest of the Gulf region. We are delighted to add Abu Dhabi to our growing international network. The UAE’s booming business, trade and tourism make Abu Dhabi a great fit Our network. We believe that travelers will enjoy choosing the best airline to fly to India and South Asia on this route,” Kannan said Saturday during the launch of the operation.
The airline, a 51:49 joint venture between Tata Sons Private Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited, has a fleet of 53 aircraft and has served more than 35 million customers since it began operations.

From 1 October, the flight schedule to and from Abu Dhabi will be Mumbai-Abu Dhabi (UK flight 0255) 1910 hours 2040 hours daily and Abu Dhabi Mumbai (UK flight 0256) 2140 hours 0235 hours daily ( 1).
