[ad_1]

washington, November 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Vita Aerospace (Vita) announces fleet-wide deployment of the Vita Rescue System (VRS) united arab emirates, National Search and Rescue Center (NSRC). The UAE National Search and Rescue Center is a regional and world leader in the adoption and development of cutting-edge rescue technologies and practices. Their adoption of the Vita rescue system marks a major milestone in Vita’s mission to transform the safety and efficiency of helicopter crane rescue operations.

“Deploying the Vita Rescue System across our fleet is another step in our vision to improve preparedness, response and operational capabilities,” said NSRC General Manager His Excellency Dr. Stephen Toumajan. “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Vita Aerospace.”

NSRC will use VRS throughout the UAE and the Greater Arabian Gulf region. The system will also play a key role in NSRC’s work to develop operational standards by exchanging information and expertise with its regional and global counterparts.

VRS uses a revolutionary high powered magnetic fan system to eliminate spinning and swaying of the rescue hoist. The system ensures patient and staff safety and improves operational efficiency by up to 4 times compared to traditional methods.

“The unique life-saving advantages of the Vita Rescue System continue to impress search and rescue organizations worldwide,” said Caleb Carr, CEO of Weta. “We are eager to deploy our system in the UAE to benefit anyone in need of helicopter-lifted rescue basket extraction.”

The widespread adoption of VRS around the world is the latest in numerous deployments and demonstrations around the world. Notably, VRS has just completed developmental flight testing at the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory. VRS was tested on the SKEDCO Basic Rescue System and Stokes Rescue Litter. Tests have been performed to ensure that the equipment will operate in a variety of operating environments.
