W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s 30 extraordinary hotel brands, has announced the opening of W Costa Navarino, set on 32 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on a sandy beach in Greece.
The debut of this highly anticipated Greek resort brings a vibrant and creative energy to Navarino Riviera, the newest integrated resort in Costa Navarino on the Mediterranean Sea.

The architectural design of W Costa Navarino, led by renowned Greek architects Tombazis and Associates, took inspiration from the traditional architecture of the region, with cobblestone paths, monolithic buildings and stone towers creating the feel of a Greek coastal village. Using local materials, Costa Navarino’s dedication to sustainable practices is reflected in the hotel’s timeless design, unified in lush native greenery and a planted roof overlooking the sea.
The interiors of all rooms, suites and villas feature neutral tones, occasionally paired with pops of colour to honour the heritage of Greek artisans. Incorporating unexpected, thoughtful design elements from the W Hotel, the interior design of the entire resort, including the public areas and food court – Platía – was led by London-based and globally-focused studio MKV Design. A modern and refined interpretation of traditional craftsmanship is seen through the lighting and floors, referencing the historic Greek woven baskets and leather chairs, which provide a contemporary interpretation of the local art of harness.
The unique architectural designs of destination beach clubs Parelía and Platía were designed by Tombazis and Athens-based K-Studio, which is also Parelía’s leading interior design.
