This event provided a gratifying moment for commentators and audiences
Today, court invasion seems to have become a common feature of live cricket matches. However, the most recent incident involved a furry golden dog whose ingenious defensive skills have earned him a viral reputation.
The lively event took place during the Women’s All-Ireland T20 semi-final, between the Brady Cricket Club and the civil servants of the Northern Ireland or Irish Cricket Club in Maglamathon.
When the batter hit the ball to the short third man and was hit back by the outfielder, the audience suddenly saw the dog-with its black leash behind it-running onto the field. When the goalkeeper tried to hit the stump but missed, the dog rushed to steal the ball and began to run away, while the players tried to chase it.
After a player calmed down and retrieved the ball, it finally stopped running so that the game could continue.
This event provided a gratifying moment of laughter for commentators and audiences.

Subsequently, Peter Miller, director of public relations and communications for the Caribbean Premier League, retweeted the tweet, which has since received 1.9 million views and is still increasing.
The four-legged outfielder impressed netizens with his excellent defense. “The dog should be used as a deputy fielder for cricket-change your mind,” questioned a netizen who laughed.
