Participate in charity events in December
Celebrity patrons including model and actress Gal Gadot and musician Melotti Gadot will shine at a charity dinner in Dubai to raise awareness for International Day of Disabled Persons.
The two-day International Day of Persons with Disabilities will take place at the French Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai from 3-4 December and will culminate in a star-studded dinner and awards ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
The events are hosted by the Better World Fund, a Paris-based charity that uses the arts – and film in particular to raise awareness of pressing global issues such as women’s rights, education, climate and biology Diversity.
In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the December event will focus on people with disabilities, with a gala dinner and auction supported by a number of global celebrities.
Gal Gadot, Melotti Gadot, Gabriela Zanchi and Sir Clifford Leroy Edwards, who currently appear in Netflix’s Red Notice, will join as patrons of the lavish evening.
“This is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and having the support of these global icons is critical to what we do,” said Manuel Collas de la Roche, President and Founder of Better World Fund.

These celebrities will be presented by the foundation during the red carpet event in recognition of their support for important global issues on the UN Sustainable Development Goals agenda. Funds raised will support the work of Dubai Cares.
In addition to the dinner, a premier conference will bring together global disability leaders and business leaders to address issues such as disability innovation, as well as a screening of the film “Dear Mother” by renowned local talent Fadel AlMheiri.
