Since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, girls’ education has been a major topic.Recently, the Ministry of Education led by the Taliban in Afghanistan instructed all middle schools to resume male students in classes, but No mention of the girl’s return date.

Now, a young Afghan girl has delivered a powerful speech emphasizing the need for women’s education, which quickly spread on social media.

In the one-minute video, young girls boldly talk about women’s right to education and the role of women in Afghanistan’s development.

Wearing a headscarf and surrounded by other children holding placards, she fearlessly questioned what empowered the Taliban and deprived them of equal rights and opportunities when God gave them equal rights and opportunities.

“I’m from a new generation,” she declared enthusiastically. “I was not born to eat, sleep and stay at home. I want to go to school.”

The young man, who did not want to be named, emphasized the necessity of education and added that she wanted to do something for the development of the country. She further questioned how a country can develop without education.

“If no girl in Afghanistan is educated, how will we educate our next generation?” the young girl asked in a passionate speech.

Education is an important tool for change. “If we are not educated, we have no value in this world,” she argued.

The video was shared on Twitter by Afghan journalist Bil​​​al Sarwar and has since received nearly 72,000 views. Several commentators praised the girls’ brave remarks and expressed their solidarity with Afghan women.
