Dubai: It is raining in parts of the UAE. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), heavy rains fell in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and inland areas of Sharjah.
Skies across the UAE are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with some convective clouds and rain, especially over the sea, eastwards and northwards such as Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, NCM reported.
Authorities also issued flood warnings, warning residents and motorists to avoid valleys and areas prone to flooding and landslides.
Storm_ae shared a video of heavy to moderate rain in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Heavy rains also caused flooding in some valleys in the eastern emirates.
In its daily weather forecast, the NCM predicts moderate southwesterly and northwesterly winds with gusts of 15-30, up to 50km/h, will blow dust across the country.
The highest temperature across the country is expected to be between 27-33°C, and the lowest temperature is expected to be between 12-17°C.
In the coastal areas, maximum temperatures will be between 26-32°C and in the mountains between 19-24°C.
Humidity is moderate in coastal areas at 65-85%, while 55-75% is expected in the mountains.
Seas will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
