Watch: Slovakia unveils its first hydrogen-powered car at Expo 2020 Dubai-News

[ad_1]

The Slovak pavilion at the Dubai World Expo in 2020 unveiled the country’s first hydrogen-powered car-a stylish, aerodynamic sports car that does not produce harmful emissions.

The MH2 hydrogen-powered car was designed by Slovak designer Branislav Mauks, who has contributed to the design of every Ferrari model since 2007.

This concept car has a unique functional design and the latest technology and materials, reflecting the country’s ability to innovate and look forward to the future of mobility, while also contributing to its goal of promoting sustainable development.

Slovakia demonstrated this new technology in an event attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai, as well as the political delegation of the Slovak Republic and the Director General of the Slovak Pavilion. At Expo 2020, Miroslava Miroslava Valovicova.

Designer Mauks said: “Slovakia believes in hydrogen technology. Since hydrogen is a part of water, we got inspiration from the water after studying the form and color of water. Therefore, from the top, the car looks like a drop of water.

“For the rest of the body, we draw inspiration from the athlete’s body. Therefore, the shape of the MH2 is very aerodynamic and sturdy, similar to an athlete preparing to start a competition.”

The hydrogen concept car created by the Matador Group, a leader in the Slovak automotive industry, and the Kosice University of Technology reflects Slovakia’s ability to initiate cooperation between the automotive and academic sectors to create truly monumental things, emphasizing the theme of the World Expo. “Connect ideas and create the future.”

Slovak Prime Minister Edward Hegel said: “The Slovak Pavilion represents the beauty and achievements of Slovakia. As we enter the post-epidemic era, Expo 2020 Dubai is the perfect platform to showcase our inventions and technological progress. I wish 2020 The World Expo 2010 was a complete success, and I hope it can encourage a new generation of people to seek inspiration to make this world a better place.”
