This exquisite project by Modon Properties will feature a high-end residential community with 360 degree panoramic views of Abu Dhabi city and the waterfront from its elevated position in and around two hilly neighborhoods with heights of 45m and 50m respectively, and There will be world-class sports facilities. The master plan will add 53.5 kilometers of coastline to the urban landscape, including 16 kilometers of beaches, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a world-class lifestyle destination connecting tourism, leisure, sports and urban transport.

The complex will also include Velodrome Abu Dhabi, Surf Abu Dhabi, various sports, commercial and leisure facilities, the largest urban park in the emirate, and a 220-kilometer network of cycle paths.

Jassem Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance and Chairman of Modon Properties, noted that the master plan is in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the follow-up of Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Abu Dhabi Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council, has cemented Abu Dhabi’s position as a pioneer of forward-looking urban development.

Emphasizing Abu Dhabi’s sporting and leisure credentials, the unique surf complex aims to appeal to everyone from beginners to professional surfers. Surf Abu Dhabi will be the ideal venue for major international events and will play an important role in the development of the local, regional and global surf community.

Velodrome Abu Dhabi, scheduled to open in 2025, will feature the region’s first UCI Category 1 indoor cycling track, suitable for hosting international championships.
