Watch: UAE police stop traffic offenders and give them flowers instead of fines-News

[ad_1]

The Abu Dhabi police hope to correct driving behavior in a different way-that is, with a sweet gesture.

They were caught violating traffic rules in Abu Dhabi. Recently, several motorists were stopped by the police, but they were not fined, but got roses.

In an initiative called “Hand in Hand”, Abu Dhabi Police hopes to raise public awareness of road safety and correct driving behavior in different ways. They did not issue a ticket as usual, but explained the safety reminder, urged them not to violate the rules in the future, and ended the brief lecture with a flower.

Lieutenant Colonel Saif Mohammed Al Ameri, Deputy Director of Al Ain’s Department of Traffic and Patrol said: “This initiative aims to educate drivers on the importance of safe driving by observing traffic rules and regulations to avoid accumulating traffic violations.”

Campaigns have also been carried out on many roads in Al Ain.

In addition to flowers, the police patrol also distributed road safety manuals, urging drivers to respect other road users, including pedestrians and delivery men.
